These Boots Were Made For Walking

I know, I know, it’s only been a few days since I showcased my go-to Fall Boots.  But I had a reader question the feasibility of heeled boots in a truly outdoor setting.  She asks “What sort of boots would I wear sans pavement?”

Today, as I was preparing for an orchard adventure, I asked myself the same question.  Answer: my grey Cole Haan boots.  Not only are they incredibly stylish (if I do say so myself), but they have the Cole Haan + Nike technology, which makes them truly comfortable both on and off pavement.  I also really love this particular pair, because it has an adjustable hook closure on top.  I have ridiculously skinny legs, so it’s nice to be able to form a closer fit.  Likewise, if you were layering during the winter, you wouldn’t have to worry about a tight fit, or bunching.

I paired these boots with my go-to Paige jeans (also mentioned here and here), and a red plaid Oxford.  How nice it was to get into a fall mindset!
